When I was around nine years old, I went to bed with pink bubble gum in my mouth.

Yep, you know what the outcome was…

A wad of pink bubble gum stuck in my hair.  Luckily, we didn’t have to cut it out.  My mom somehow knew to use peanut butter, (along with a few choice words), to get it out…

When was the last time you went to bed with gum in your mouth?

When was the last time you took any risk at all?

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “Do one thing everyday that scares you…”Do one thing every dayPicMonkey Sample

Does reading that quote bring on a little anxiety? Cause your heart to beat faster?  Raise your blood pressure?

Good.

Not good for you to be anxious or anything, but good for you to even think about stepping out of that super-de-duper comfort zone.

Everyday I get ready to post a blog, I’m a little scared.

Putting ourselves out there and being vulnerable is no easy thing…

But come on, take a risk!  Go to sleep with bubble gum in your mouth!

Or, take a risk that is meaningful, beneficial, helpful or supportive to someone.

Taking a risk on behalf of others takes a lot of the insecurity and timidness away.

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of love, power and self discipline.” (2Timothy 1:7)

Love can drive us to do extraordinary things, can’t it?

Stories are told of people being able to lift cars or break down doors to reach loved ones.

What if we lived every day with that intense love for others?  With that intense love for God?

Jesus said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”Man running fast to jump over precipice between two mountains

Hmm…Love and Faith…a recipe for healthy risk?

Astronaut Chris Hadfield said it well…

“Just taking risks for risk’s sake, that doesn’t do it for me. I’m willing to take risks that I think are worth it…”

Who is worth it to you?

Worth making that difficult phone call…worth forgiving…worth investing in their life?

I would like to offer you a RISK FREE BLUEPRINT to inspire you to move mountains.  It contains the beginning, middle and end to living life unafraid, (all the while chewing bubble gum if you like).

Why would I offer this?  Because I believe you were created for more.  I believe that somewhere along the way you may have lost your sense of adventure and risk.  Lost the courage to step out in faith.

This Blueprint will outline all the steps needed to get you on that road of intense love for God and others.  It will motivate you to rethink your comfort zone and possible go beyond your safe borders.

It’s easy, it’s free, and I’d love to send it to you today.

P.S.  The next time you stop at the convenience store, buy a pack of Hubba Bubba and blow the biggest bubbles you can.  (But please spit it out before bed)
